ETFE Roof – Idexx Kornwestheim

Location: Kornwestheim, Germany
Year of completion: 2018
Scope of work:
Structural calculations and full workshop design of the steel structure for an ETFE cushion roof.
The roof structure consists of curved girders made of circular hollow sections supported by columns in square hollow sections. Edge beams in the gable walls provide horizontal stabilization of the main girders.
