BIM coordination

We treat BIM as a practical tool for project delivery, supporting coordination, change management and an efficient flow of information between all parties. We connect the structural model (including Tekla Structures) with interdisciplinary coordination to identify clashes early, structure approvals and maintain consistent data from design through to execution.
We use Trimble Connect as a shared environment for models, documents and coordination, directly linked to the Tekla model. This enables clear revision tracking, task assignment and well-documented decisions.

Scope of service

model coordination across disciplines (structural, architectural, MEP and process)
clash detection, clash handling and maintaining a coordination log (tasks, comments, revisions)
preparing models and exchange files in agreed formats (e.g. IFC, DWG, DXF and other project-specific formats)
change management: revision control, updating models and documentation, and communicating changes to stakeholders
coordination support during execution: interface clarification, handling queries and reviewing changes

Fabrication and site coordination

We support delivery by structuring information for downstream phases:

erection splits and erection phases reflected in the model
take-offs and model data supporting fabrication planning and logistics
consistent distribution of current model and drawing revisions between design office, fabrication and site

Working with point clouds

For refurbishments and extensions, we work based on a point cloud provided by the client or contractor. This helps fit new steelwork to existing conditions, detect clashes early and reduce the risk of rework during installation.
