Structural design

We specialise in steel structures - from industrial projects to architectural steelwork with the highest visual requirements. We work as a team of structural designers, analysts and detailers, coordinating solutions with architects, process engineers and other disciplines. Our focus is on buildability, erection-friendly design and efficient interface coordination.

Project stages and deliverables

We provide documentation tailored to the project stage:

Concept stage – defining the structural system, option studies, key details and design assumptions.
Design development & permitting support – developing the structural scheme, coordinating interfaces and supporting project approvals, as required.
Detailed design for steelwork – 3D model, drawings and details in the agreed scope, aligned with execution requirements.
Extension: erection-focused planning – erection splits, erection sequence, temporary conditions and project-specific information to support safe and efficient installation.

The scope is agreed per project with the client and the design team; for projects delivered for the German market, deliverables can also be aligned with HOAI where required.

Codes and standards

We design to Eurocodes / DIN EN and, when required, to US standards including AISC and ASCE 7, as well as other local codes applicable in the country of construction. The applied standards and scope are defined per project to meet client requirements and approval procedures.

Refurbishments and extensions – point cloud based work

For refurbishments and extensions, we work based on a point cloud provided by the client or contractor, enabling accurate fit to existing conditions, early clash detection with fewer site modifications and improved coordination with related disciplines.

Authorisations and markets

We deliver projects in both Poland and Germany. Our engineers hold qTWP – qualifizierter Tragwerksplaner (NRW) qualifications as well as Polish structural design licences.
